
An investigation has been launched into the death of a 13-year-old boy just six weeks after he received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Weverton Silva got his shot on August 25th and developed multiple symptoms shortly afterward according to his family.
Silva suffered a cardiac arrest on October 8th and died inside a clinic in the urban area of Vale do Anari.
The 13-year-old was inside a pharmacy on October 8th when he suddenly collapsed. Doctors and bystanders rushed towards Silva in an attempt to resuscitate him. Their efforts went on for several minutes, however, there was no response.
The body of the 13-year-old was sent to the city of Ariquemes for an autopsy where officials will try to determine what the causal relationship is between his death and the administration of the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine 44 days earlier.
The attempts to resuscitate Silva were caught on video.
