Montreal Canadiens Increased their Lead in the Atlantic Division with 4-1 win against the Dallas Stars.

Jordie Benn wins his first matchup with his superstar brother Jamie Benn when Dallas Stars visit the Montreal Canadiens. Jordie, who was traded to the Canadiens by the Stars on Feb. 27 2017 in exchange for Greg Pateryn and a fourth-round pick at the NHL Draft, happily buys dinner for his little brother.

Max Pacioretty’s backhand goal ties the game 1-1. Brendan Gallagher’s goal gives the Canadiens the 2-1 lead at 3:21 of the third period with a wrist shot past Kari Lehtonen. Artturi Lehkonen’s perfectly placed one-timer gives the Canadiens the 3-1 lead with the assist awarded to Andrei Markov, who ties with Guy Lapointe in all-time points by a defenceman with the Canadiens (572)- 2nd only to Larry Robinson (883). Alexander Radulov scored with a backhand on a 2-on-1 assisted by Max Pacioretty.

Curtis McKenzie scored and Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves for Dallas Stars (31-34-11).

Carey Price made 27 saves for Montreal Canadiens.
