Gunman opens fire at Resorts World Manila in Philippines and Resorts World Manila Hotel is on Lockdown.

Resorts World Manila tweeted that the company is working closely with the Philippine National Police to ensure that all guests and employees are safe. At least 25 people have been injured after masked gunman started shooting inside a resort in the capital of Philippines.

At least one masked gunman opened fire at guests and employee at the Resorts World Manila in Philippines, Pasay City which is in the metro area of the capital. A masked gunman was on the second floor of one hotel, firing at guests, hotel employees fleeing the scene told CNN Philippines.

Explosions and gunfire have been reported at the popular Filipino tourist site Resorts World Manila in Philippines.

Currently, Resorts World Manila is on lockdown after reports of gunfire and explosions.

Philippines has been grappling with incidents of terrorism, especially on the southern island of Mindanao. In the city of Marawi, government forces have been battling ISIS-linked militants for control of the city. The battle for Marawi, a largely Muslim city, has displaced at least 70,000 residents and left 140 people dead. The terrorist siege began just as Muslims worldwide started to mark the holy month of Ramadan.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack at Resorts World Manila.
